Big Blocks, Sloped Driveways, Heavier Doors

Castle Hill homes are often on bigger blocks than most of Sydney, with double garages and driveways that slope more than people expect — especially the further you get from the station. That slope puts extra strain on tracks and springs over time, which is why doors here tend to wear differently to a flat-block property closer to the city. I carry the heavier-duty springs and hardware these bigger doors actually need.

Older Homes And Newer Builds, Different Fixes

There's a real mix here — big freestanding homes on the older side of the suburb, and newer townhouses and higher-density builds closer to Castle Towers and the Metro. The older doors are usually heavier steel or timber-look panels that need proper spring tension work. The newer builds often have lighter sectional doors with more sensitive safety sensors that go out of alignment easily. I know which is which before I even open the boot.
