Manual and Automatic Roller Doors
A manual roller door relies on correct balance and smooth movement in its guides. An automatic roller door adds an opener and controls, but fitting a motor does not correct a door that is heavy, damaged or poorly aligned. The door should be mechanically sound before an opener decision is made.
When a Repair Assessment Makes Sense
Arrange an assessment when the curtain catches, the door moves unevenly, the guides are damaged, the door feels unusually heavy, the opener struggles or the door has been hit. Do not force a door that has left its guides and do not adjust springs or cables yourself.
